I found out it has a built in device playback feature, which worked straight off the bat. I used to use the bittorrent client Azureus, now Vuze. They all seemed to work but I always go the same error message: "Codec not supported" or "File type not supported" or something along those lines. The interface is a bit counterintuitive, but if you add your own directories under "Settings," you end up with a "Folders" choice on your Blu-Ray, and can navigate them normally.
